2010 WAMPO Household Travel Survey
Q. Will anyone be coming to my home? A. No. ETC will contact you by phone and by mail only. Your responses to the survey will be mailed back to ETC. For those households that will be using the GPS unit, a central location will be announced where you may go to have the GPS unit installed/removed.
Q. How much is this survey going to cost? A. The cost of the survey is not to exceed $575,000. Eighty percent (80%) of the survey is funded by federal transportation planning funds. The remaining 20% is funded by WAMPO. These funds can only be used for planning activities and cannot be used for capital improvements.
Q. How often is this survey done? A. This is the first survey of this kind commissioned for the WAMPO region (Sedgwick County, the cities and towns therein, the area in and around the cities of Andover in Butler county and Mulvane in Sumner County. There has been no commitment from WAMPO to have another survey done in the near or long-term future. Such decisions will be made by the WAMPO Transportation Policy Body if and when such a survey is again needed.
